Small but beautifully laid out stands were available for camping. Each stand was private and had electricity and water as well as a basin to do your dishes. Ablutions are cleaned daily and also have hot water. Stands are on grass and most have a view over the Oranje as well as easy access to it. A well laid out bar, friendly staff and a clean pool rounds this jewel off as well as being extremely affordable. I can highly recommend this place and hope to someday return and stay a little longer

The location of this camp site is ideal being a short ride from the SA/Namibian border & so perfect for a stopover. However, it seemed a little run down & so would not look to make it longer than the 1 night stay over. The potential is massive though & should the place get a boost of life or financial injection, this could be a must stop place

All the basics are there but a bit pricey for that (one can get more for less) and the braai pack was tiny for the price. The chalet is a rather flimsy and fire prone structure. Of course the setting was lovely

Beautiful! We spent 6 easy nights here. Can't wait to return. Was worth the long drive from Cape Town. Thank you Mercia and Johanand camp dog Bruno!

A very comfy campsite with green grass and lovely views of the Orange River. Nice big camp sites with power and a tap. Lots of birds.
Ablution blocks are looking a little worn & could do with an upgrade. Also not a place to go in school holidays if you like peace & quiet.
Lousy access road. Deflate tyres & take it slow

Amazingly friendly owners, stayed in a gorgeous river facing cottage and was a great stop off to and from Namibia.

    We will definitely be back!

Great camp. We stayed in the Chalet and the value for money was fantastic. Views of the river from our own secluded garden with braii area and a nicely kitted out kitchenette. Would recommend, right next to the border too if looking for somewhere to stay as a stop point on your travels.

Very nice private campsites with tables and wash hand basin at the campsite. Rustic ablutions but clean. Swimming pool was clean and most welcome in the summer heat. We had river views from the campsite and river walking distance away.
