Took passport photo's here. The staff were knowledgeable and checked the photos afterwards to ensure that they were within the specifications.

Developed 35mm film here. The scans had a thin black line at the top of all of them.

If you want mediocre photo service, visit this branch. I pushed film by one stop, marked the roll as such and asked the developing staff to develop it plus one. It was like they had never heard of push processing. They told me it cannot be done. I had them develop the roll anyways, since I wanted to take the chance with them being so close to my home and all. The scans came out terribly underexposed, as it would, but I thought they would do some compensation while scanning, since my friend over at One Hour Photo in Riebeeck Str, Cape Town City Centre helped me out that way once when I forgot to mark a pushed roll. The scans also had a thin black line at the top of all of them. I'm getting into film now and I'm really passionate about it but it is SO hard to find good service when it comes to developing film in Cape Town and it really kills me when my photos come out average due to bad processing. If you don't do something properly and with all your heart, why bother at all, right? If you want a photo lab that will go the extra mile for you, go to One Hour Photo OR Tothills Photo Chemists, both in Riebeeck Str, Cape Town City Centre.

What an institution! Remember this place as a kid 40 years ago. Staff are amazing and passionate about what they do. So inspiring to see the old shops that have stood the test of time.
