We spent three nights in this magical place during July, one of the most stunning experience of my entire life !
Everything was wonderful, luxurious tents, succulent meals, the team is perfect, and experienced trackers provided us unforgettable moments into the wild nature It's incredible to feel yourself living between these hundreds of mighty animals.
Juste two words: THANK YOU ! ! ! To all the wonderful team for the kindness & smiles, and specially to Clement, Henry & Kevin for their expertise & explanations about animals and stars
I can only give you 5 stars for your evaluation, you deserve much more !

Nkomazi and Komati fill your heart with an amazing place and amazing people!
Words cannot describe the beauty of Nkomazi game reserve and your experience at the Komati Tented Lodging. From the time of arrival to the time of departure you are greeted with friendly smiling faces of people with a true love of nature. Animals surround visitors in this serene landscape.
First and foremost the location is a geologist, whether novice or experts, dream! Set in the highlands of South Africa, these are believed to be some of the oldest rocks in the world. The setting adds great appreciation in addition to all the wildlife one can see.
The Rangers take you to some of the best wildlife experiences in a most natural setting without overtly disturbing the animals natural patterns, which only enhances the experience. They allow the animals to carry on with natural patterns while still getting you very close. We had a lion that crossed our path (not us his) within less than 10 feet.
The chef's creations of food exceded our expectations. There is savoury tradition woven in with modern cuisine. Freshness was at the core of each dish. While the lodge is remote, the food reflects freshness and brightness.
Spa treatments are well priced and worth the time spent. Indulge yourself while listening to the tranquil sounds of the peaceful river cutting through some of the oldest rocks in the world. The therapist adds a peaceful traditional touch. Spa treatments may come at a cost of missing an afternoon Game Hike, but the relaxation is worth the sacrifice.
The tented lodges themselves are super luxurious in every way. The beds are some of the most comforatable fluffy clouds one can dream upon. The in tent showers were quite small but what can you expect when you are "camping" and the outside shower, tub and pool made up for the missing space.
I could go on and on but I think you are better served booking now as they are quite booked out for a while is my understanding.response / report this review -

It was my first game viewing experience. We were asigned a very friendly game ranger, appropriately named - Celebrate - for the duration of our stay. We did two game drives per day One early in the morning, and another in the evening. Off the bat we ran into a pride of lions, stalking their prey. We saw game so close, it was literally scary at times. It was just surreal form the beginning to end. The tented accommodation was incredible, with a outide bath and shower from which you can enjoy the warm starry nights of the lowfeld. It is the perfect romantic getaway.

One of the best experiences we ever had with genuine value for money, proper hospitality, pampering as well as good food well prepared and presented. Then of course the game viewing was unlike anything we have experienced before.
