Ngotshe secondary is situated un Northern part of KZN, the school is named after its place of location "Ngotshe", Ngotshe as a place is a small town closer to Vryheid. though the school is located in rural areas but it has been able to produce competent students who can be easily admitted at various institutions of education, to name the few are; University of kwaZulu natal, university of South Africa, Durban university of technology, mangosuthu university of technology, Tshwane university of technology, Vaal , etc. Teachers and its pupils are showing a great solidarity to work and sharing the few resources that a school has in its pool.
