The guys are trying hard to meet the South Africas standards. Situated at Five avenue shopping centre ., the place sells good food. However, the prices do not accomodate different clientelle in the area for they only attract the higher class

Good service. Food was also good. Music was great, very good sound system. Good for groups and going out for drinks with friends.

The wrap was DIVINE! Chips great and the 'Pink' sauce, omiword, delicious. Staff was friendly, kitchen fast. Place was clean and doesent stink of old booze (like it used to) Management can be very proud of how well this place has improved.

Situated in Hatfield central, awesome location.
They have specials on Saturdays with selected cocktails at a discount. However cocktail quality is relatively poorer than the average News Cafe.
Their bathrooms have a strong odour, and you can tell which direction the bathrooms are just from the smell. Very disappointing.
When it's busy someone comes in to mop but it doesn't make any difference so I suspect they don't use detergents.
Waiters are friendly and helpful that's the only good thing about this place.response / report this review -

The place has lost its spunk since it relocated to its new premises. It is mostly empty and the vibe is quite dead. Its still classy and upmarket but their prices are a ridiculously exorbitant for Hatfield.

This is ideal for all sorts of occasions. The interior is beautifully done, the leather and wood look give it a nice classy vibe.
Totally enjoyed my food each time I was there , they never disappoint. Try their "big beef burger" and thank me later.

It would have gotten another star if I had received a news paper, maybe some breaking news reports. Even CNN running at a near by TV. But no, I had to get the news from my phone like some hipster teen.
