Beautiful African deco. Most spectacular view of our beautiful beaches. Experience the waves crashing against the pier as you sip on a cocktail or have your meal.

    Good views, good vibe.
The outdoor seating was quite nice. Great spot to take photos - you can see quite far up the beach. Decent food options and nice cocktails. Very warm and friendly staff - they made the visit more enjoyable. It also attracts a nice crowd, people smiling and having fun everywhere, great vibe, very enjoyable.

Best service. Our waitress was the best she was attentive and quick on her feet. It always a delightful experience to be at Moyo on the Pier. Best hangout spot.

Wow what hospitality! The music, food and warm and friendly staff you have! This is the S.A. we as foreigners want to come to not a xenophobia and crime we watch on tv! Really had a great time! Thank you mthokozisi! Keep up the good work! Definitely coming back for the African spinach :-)

A sad experience that I'll not be repeating any time soon. Clearly an events venue and NOT a family restaurant nothing on the menu for children, play area was just colours plastic tables w/ nothing for them to do and the outside jungle-gyms were clearly daytime visits only the Buffet Special certainly was special if you like tough brisket (that even the steak knives can't saw through), dry pap, and vanilla ice cream for dessert
the venue was mostly empty leaving very little 'Durban' atmosphere to experience. At R900.00 for adults and 45min to bring two salads for the ladies, it was an expensive disappointment at best.

Spent the evening on moyo pier. Real chilled venue to hang with the friends for drinks. The shooters were really good. Had a fruity touch and super affordable. Samoosas , chips , poppers were yummy. Fish cakes were a lil "fishy" though.

Entertainment and service is good. Food is absolutely horrible. Made the unfortunate decision to enjoy the buffet. It's was the worst experience for a hungry individual who walked 6kms for a hearty meal. Definitely won't be back.

Nice place to chill with friends. Live music on weekends and peak season. Drinks can be a little pricey. Get there early for good seats.

Great place to get a drink and for an amazing view. Sitting outside upstairs is an awesome way to enjoy your evening. The service was a little slow (we had to find a waiter to take our order) and we didn't find anything particularly appetizing on the menu that was unique. A good experience as long as your food expectations are not too high

Fantastic place to go to, soak up the warm Durban sun and enjoy a drink or a meal, even both. Very relaxed and out over the ocean so all Durban's Golden Mile and more is visible. Go there!

Cool place but poor service. Took 15 minutes for us to get served. View off of the pier is excellent.

Slowwww staff, really (and it was quiet) also hard to understand the English of waitress.
The chicken and prawn curry was disappointing and lacked taste somehow, strange after taste The papadum burnt. The piri piri prawns were really too ho (spicy), ridiculous! Because the meal was not eaten, my hope was on deserts,: too bad the two choices were not available, it figures! All in all I left sad (and still hungry). Done with Moyo after again a sad evening with food without soul and passion.
