MBP was created to improve the performance of athletes.
The Move Better Project (MBP) is guided by the principles of evidence based practice and innovation. The mental model of MBP is that movement imbalances/impairments results in reduced athletic performance and/or injury.
At MBP, we address these imbalances/impairments on two levels:
1. individual athletes who have specific imbalances/impairments and
2. On a team level, working with coaches to reduce repetitive strain injuries common to the sport.
Once the “box” of movement imbalances is ticked, MBP works with athletes and coaches to develop the power, strength and speed to attain the goal of fully expressing athletic performance.
