Good shopping experience with competitive prices on various grocery brands. Located close to the N3 route in Mooi River making for a good stop.

Overly crowded and parking area is littered with people and beggars as the bottle store is the main attraction and overflowing with the locals from the rural areas. It's also very dusty and busy outside and if one isn't used to the area,you may even feel afraid to exit your vehicle. Driving in is a nightmare as there is barely any road left and potholes by the dozen. Inside you have the basics and a food deli, however,the deli staff were rude and even tried to ignore us .When I finally got their attention,we were served at an excruciatingly slow pace.They looked very unhappy to have to help a customer. The local farmers and residents of the town don't seem to mind the hustle and frequent the spar for their daily shopping etc. As a visitor,it wasn't a great experience.

Spar Mooi River has improved it's appearance and offering over the past 2 month. Very happy with the changes.
