We stayed at one of the private house accommodation onsite, but when we went twice to the restaurant to ask about breakfast or lunch. The staff were rude, unhelpful, muttering at us and pointing at us. When we finally got a chance to have breakfast (third attempt). They said they are a private restaurant and we basically have to book in advance to eat there, as they were fully booked. We looked around and not a soul in sight, not even a sandwich offered. The Manager even mentioned that the rudeness stems from the staff in the area. We were very taken aback by this, as it can be seen overall terrible service and attitude. My R130 breakfast was the most expensive omelette ever, as the rest of my food didnt arrive. Though the view was great, if I could give them a zero I would. Our group has been to many lodges (on varying prices), and never had a place say they cannot help.

Rooms need maintenance. Managers need training. Staff very friendly and helpful. Game drives excellent with Simion. Saw the big five within 2 days.

What a nice place to stay at. Accommodation is amazing. The staff even better. They are always ready to assist you in what ever you need. Game drives are so educating and to see these wild animals up close in the bush is amazing. Would definately come back.

A peaceful holiday destination next to the Crocodile river. At night you can hear the lions roar. Just magic!
