Stunning. Fireplace in the room. They supply you with wood and firelighter every night to snuggle and keep warm. Braai on your little stoepie overlooking the mountains and river. Sounds like it's raining all the time in a rain Forrest. Relax ones sole:-)

Wonderful staff, good dinner. The view was spectacular and the front desk ladies were helpful. I left something at the check-in desk and hours later it was still there, they had kept it safe.

What an interesting location. Enjoyed the toboggan ride thoroughly!!! There is a restaurant with a pool in the decking overlooking beautiful scenery. The kitchen didnt have enough ice-cream or rolls for burgers when we were there, but it was over a long weekend.

I have made a booking to this facility during Oct for Dec. the cancellation policy they emailed confirms that there wont be penalty if i cancel before 4 Nov. on 2 Nov i tried to cancel and they were going to revert back in writing. To this day I cant make bookings as they are not honoring their own policy. Do you think i want to spend my holidays there?

Loved: views from property, supply of wood for fireplace inside chalet, decent breakfast included, common lounge and games area and the very friendly and helpful staff. They offered numerous activities but can't speak on them as we didn't use any.

Needs improvement: checkin/booking service, cleanliness of bathroom and kitchenette/crockery, upkeep of children's playground equipment. TV not available in individual rooms and long waiting time to order & receive hot breakfast option. Wifi never worked & is limited to the common area.

The property was too close to the main road, so we heard mainly traffic noise and didn't get to enjoy the wonderful views and serenity from our chalet which is expected from a weekend getaway in Mpumalanga. This property is best for short stays by passing travelers.

It is family friendly and a decent no fuss place.

Well prices food. Service is not that good. With our table the waitress missed 2 of the drink orders and one food order. You wait awhile for both.

But a great view and beautiful surroundings

Big rooms, electric blankets and umbrellas in the rooms. Food was delicious, variety. Serene especially when you want an escape from the busy life. No TV's in the chalets.

The food was better than most 5 star restaurants I have eaten in.
Grace is an excellent waitress, and helps out everywhere she can.
Zandile at reception was very friendly and went out of her way to assist us.
The fireplace in the bedroom is magic.

The restaurant hours are very limited, their walking trails are not clearly marked and their maps are difficult to decipher. The patron were however quite friendly and the location has beautiful views. We ended up walking through the man made forests And saw a few large birds of prey

They close the kitchen at 2 in the afternoon, but atleast they have a sign on the doorthat you 'must' acknowledge after driving 30min for lunch. Horrific service. Nice view unless your hungry.

The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Staff were very helpful and very friendly. However, being a self-catering facility more care needs to be taken in order to maintain the appliances and utensils so that they are clean and can function properly.
