Incredibly well staffed hospital. Good and clean all around with good health and safety practices. Unfortunately does not accommodate all medical aid funds, but then again, there are other hospitals that do. Staff are warm and friendly, but parking is a bit limited.

I gave birth at MPH in Jan. My birth experience was perfect; my ob/gyn, Dr De Beer went out of her way to make sure I had a wonderful birth and stay in the hospital. The day staff were wonderful in the maternity ward but the night staff lacked emotional intelligence A LOT!

I then had my wisdom teeth removed in March and the day ward nurses were amazing.

My rating is with regards to Dr Stemmet in cardiac ward. The man is inconsiderate and rude. My mother died on his watch and he blatantly refused to give an explanation as to what could have happened to cause her death. He didn't explain anything to me as a family member with regards to the treatment my mother was getting during her stay in the ward. I could go as far as saying he is racist and doesn't care about the well being of his patients family members and his patients while in his care. The man just doesn't care and utterly lacks sympathy and compassion. I would never recommend anyone to use his services.

My niece was admitted twice for epilepsy within a week. The childrens ward is geared up for epilepsy and the staff are really clued up. Bed linen is changed daily and the rooms clean and tidy. My niece enjoy the food. Thank you MPH for making an stressful situation easier.

We went there for the delivery of our baby and the service and advice received were fantastic. Their staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. The rooms are well equipped and the food is of a very high standard. The menus probably could do with a bit of an upgrade, but that is not enough to lose a star over.

    Racism!! Racism!! Racism!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL! IT'S FULL OF RACISTS.

I am utterly disgusted by the treatment I received from Dr Sareli's consulting room receptionists. Those white afrikaner ladies have absolutely no manners and no regard for a patient that does not share the same skin colour as them.

In such a beautiful and diverse country, racism and racists have no place here. We all eat the same food, drink the same water, have the same red blood in our veins, we are all south africans. Why can't we just embrace one another and help each other like the HUMANS we all are? Please let us forget the incorrect doctrine of racism and have respect for one another.

Skin colour is meant to diversify God's most beautiful creation, it is not meant to be a tool for hatred and seperation! Assomblief tog, I plead and i beg SAY NO RACISM AND RACISTS!
