  @ Proud Bibliophile - Are you serious? Where did you get your information? The grade 8 learners are under constant adult supervision when they are at Merensky. The grade guardian and class teachers are with them all the time However, for some reason, you were led to believe that the grade 12 learners are in charge and that they may do what they want. Merensky's management would love to address your concerns so that, together, we can get to the real problem.   This may be a good school but their mentor program for the grade 8s is unnecessary and nothing but day long bullying that is allowed by the teachers. The first two weeks of school the grade 8 students are basically left to the mercy of the grade 12 students. No one regulates what the grade 12 students do to the grade 8 students. The grade 8 students are told by the teachers that the grade 12 students are their personal bullies and not to complain to their parents. I find this irresponsible and reckless on the part of the teachers and the head of the school. I am shocked at this and am disappointed that a school that claims excellence has such a tradition.

  Merensky is one of the top schools in Tzaneen. It's a great place where memories can be formed. I love it because I'm schooling there and because it's helping me find myself and it has the best teachers that try their best to educate us and they support us in every which way you want the support. God bless MHS😘❤❤💟Couldn't have asked for a better school than Merensky Hoerskool.
