Lovely spot for a quick walk up to the waterfall to be amazed by the breathtaking beauty and even a fantastic rock pool to swim in for the adventurous

This was one of the most memorable moments of 2017. I went with my friend and parents. When you arrive there is parking. Once parked you have to walk upwards toward the waterfall. It will take a few minutes to get there and if you are unfit, maybe a little while longer, but it's not a difficult walk. Once you turn the last corner of the hill you will see the most beautiful pools and waterfalls. The water was SO COLD on the day we went, but being a waterbaby I got right in. There is a section where you can jump into the water and it didn't take long for us to scramble up the rocks to find a nice jumping spot. Please do not dive head first, this is not safe. After some persuasion my dad joined me and some other people up on the rocks and we took turns jumping into the water. I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Next time I will take a picnic basket and spend a whole day here.

Great spot for a stop and rest. Natural pool from a waterfall. Beautiful mountains surround this scenic route. It’s free and lots of parking. It does require approximately 200m walk to the waterfall. Dogs are allowed.

A visit through the info centre is a good place to start as you'll surely learn something. The short easy walk up to the falls was a little crowded but pretty enough. The falls are not as impressive as the massive rock formations. Take a swim suit and a towel as you'll want to join in the fun jumping into the plunge pool (probably 15m?). I'm not sure of the legality of this as the sign says no diving. So jump in feet first and you should be covered. The plunge pool is 9 meters deep at its deepest so don't even try diving it out.

We swam in the pools underneath the waterfall and had great fun!! The area nearly untouched by man. It was beautiful and peaceful. A must visit for everyone.

What an absolute gem of a place in the Swartberg mountains! A 5min walk to the falls from the well kept ablutions and info centre, the falls with it's clear water and stunningly beautiful sheer cliff faces wow you as you enter this oasis. Would like to come back for an afternoon picnic one day. Well worth a visit!

Quickly stopped here en route from the coast back to Pretoria. Breathtaking rocky scenery. You literally walk in a crack between two sheer cliffs, with the route concluding in a waterfall. Well worth 20 minutes of your trip time.

Arguably the best stop on your way to the coast! There is no way that anyone can skip this stop! The waterfall is easy to get to and absolutely stunning. Swimming here is great to, apart from the water being cold as ice sometimes.

This is a picturesque route through valleys and bends and turns and beautiful sceneryyou will gasp all the way as you drive through this gem. Nature at it's best!!!!
