Terrible service, except for the receptionist. Took my daughter to ER at 2:00 this morning with severe abdominal pain. Told the nurse and doctor it is appendicitis symptoms. They did no blood tests, only urine and vitals. Said it might be a pulled muscle! Gave her pain meds, let her sleep. After an hour we told the nurse the pain was still severe. Gave her another pain pill (only after the nurse asked my daughter if she thinks she should give her something else for pain). Couldn't do scan after hours or on public holiday. Discharged her with prescription for Mybulen and told to go back for scan tomorrow. The pain worsened during the day and I took her to Medi Clinic in Vereeniging's ER. The doctor immediately examined her after vitals were done and put her on antibiotics for appendicitis, blood tests were done and she was admitted for observation.

    PATHETIC SERVICE!
Shift change took 20 minutes with no one to help a senior citizen with a blood pressure of 203/111. After 40 minutes, still no one to help. Had to leave for Cormed, where we were helped immediately.

This was my first time admitted to hospital and I was very impressed by the efficient and friendly service. The parking is quite an issue however.

Pathetic, the sisters don't care about the patients. It takes hours for them to do anything, a simple pain killer took them three hours to administer. The doctors are also pathetic, they don't come to see patients on regular basis like they should, it takes days for a doctor to come see you, while your medical bill is sky rocketing. The only thing that is efficient there is the food, it's always on time, it's a pity that's not why people go there, we have many restaurants for that, and they make sure you sign on the dotted line before you eat. Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic!!!

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff with efficient and careful service. Unfortunately not a lot of parking available with overzealous parking guards making it worse. Renovations look great and expands the facility greatly. Extremely clean facilities.

Emfuleni Medi Clinic Vanderbijlpark showcases a beautiful new look, but the service surely is the worst I've ever experienced. There are lots of employees hanging around in the hallways and over trolleys and chairs, but they are definitely not there to deliver a service to the paying public. I'm so disgusted by their attitudes. We are paying patients, not some parasites living from government hand-out's and that is what we get for it. Please do something about this people. I am going to tell my medical aid that we will definitely not go there anytime soon

To get the reception staff to answer the phone takes an act of God. Very poor people skills displayed at reception. Hospital building is far from Medi Clinic's standard. Ward staff are friendly and helpful, but are let down by the admin side.
