  My vehicle overheated during the long weekend. On the Saturday I took it to McGee’s in Lydenburg. I spoke to a mechanic in the workshop who informed me, without even taking a look that the engine block was cracked. I considered asking him for the Lotto numbers since this man is clearly in the know! Luckily I am acquainted with a farmer just outside of town where I could park my vehicle for the weekend. I decided to rather spend R4500 having it brought back to Pretoria than have someone work on it who doomed it without even taking a look. So, the bakkie is fixed now, it was the top gasket in the end, no cracks anywhere.just a big one in Lydenburg.
