Amazing show room with great cars, I only got to see the new cars and got to rest drive the polo vivo TSI 2018 and that was a big and great car to be in. For that I am in love with the dealership.
The dealers were great help and JP was killer amazing. We took our time with the test drive and they have gone over 10 km to get me that car. For that I am in loveresponse / report this review -

Have had 3 VW's in my lifetime - I have had great memories with the brand, but brand loyalty seems to only get you the shaft. 1. Very poorly staffed McCarthy - you can never get through to the service department, I have had to phone them back multiple times after the call just keeps dropping. 2. Clients who wait outside for a lift to and from work are never acknowledged - and vehicles with limited seating are used for this purpose. 3. Very poor communication from the service consultants around pickup and drop off times. 4. Warned this branch about a noise on the gearbox @ 60000 km service, was then dismissed as something that 'could be an issue' and 5000km later had to do a warranty replacement on the bearing. 5. Way overpriced compared to other McCarthy VW's. In an era when VW is struggling to explain its behaviour - this dealership only perpetuates the perception of only being in it for their back pocket.

Excellent motor advice and car service. Clean workshop, fast service, efficient staff throughout all sections. Pleasant to go to. They keep their word.

They closed down a whole street so they can throw a promotional car show with a jumping castle. A whole street that blocked the highway and menlyn.they pissed so many people.

Terrible service. Took forever to get transport. Premises smelled like drain water (which they explained to have been a problem they had over the weekend, fair enough, but for heaven's sake, then hire extra drivers so that the customers dont have to sit in the stink for an hour waiting for transport)
Overcharged me for service. Initial quote was about R4800(over the phone), then on the morning of the service, the consultant said it would be between R6000 and R6500, because on the initial quote they "forgot" about something. He said, "Just to be safe" he's going to write R7000 on the form, and thank God he did, because when I got the car back, he wanted me to pay R8400, a whopping R3600 more than initial quote. After putting up quite a fight, the manager got it down to R7000, the amount quoted the morning. But I still cant help feel that it was a gross overcharge.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE Horrible service ,I took my car in on monday , it needed the gearbox to be fixed , wheel alignment done and a noise from the tires checked , they did not answer the phones on monday I eventually got hold of them at 5pm they said they will send a driver to pick me up 15 min later they called to say they cant send a drive so i took an uber. Got to th garage to find my gearbox was fixed the other two issues were not ( its fine gearbox does take time) so I took my car back the next day as discussed. I phoned at 1pm to find out the status of my car . I was told my car was not checked in and they had no record of it being there.They phoned me back an hour later to tell me they have my car and they going to do work on it.I collected my car at 5 pm the noise from the tires is still there , wheel alignment was definitely not done and they charged me R280 the car still pulls to the left.Whats worse is they drained all the oil and did not replace it.I got a warning that the car is low on oil , took it to a petrol station its completely empty. This morning while driving the car I got a tire warning so they definitely messed something up there.Im really angry but I will not take it back as they will mess something else up ill rather pay again at another place to have the wheel alignment done
