Makro is a makro.. all franchises are the same. Only thing which sets a franchise apart is their personnel and business cleanliness.

This makro is clean, well stocked and by the looks of it well run. However, a smile goes a long way and floor personnel definitely skip training day when it comes to friendly and helpfulness.

Affordable prices, nice and big store staff is really helpful you can get your gardening supplies, paints to adult clothes, assorted drinks and you can buy in bulk too this saves a lot of time and money.

The two guys who assisted me were excellent. It's unfortunate I did not take their names down but I felt like they were very much helpful. What I appreciate the most is that when the first gentleman could not answer my questions on the product I wanted, he went out of his way to get the second person. When the second gentleman could also not answer my question he also went out of his way to get an answer which let me to buy the product. What I do not understand is where was the person who deals with gardening equipments?. There might be an explanation for his/her disappearance but if there is none, these are employees who must be held to account.

this store has virtually everything. from food stuff, flowers,meat to home decor stuff to baby things , toys, school supplies. you can get your gardening supplies, paints to adult clothes, assorted drinks. and you can buy in bulk too. love this place. its a one stop shop.

Should be a good store with great variety of products and prices. Staff attitude is unfortunately too relaxed, lacks supervision and customer assistance. Staff most of the time chatting away together in corners instead of helping clients. Not easy to find assistance in this shop. Seems like they don't care and are waiting for the end of the shift.. The shop needs a restructure and shake up.

They erroneously display the price for a product which we took five of, we get to the till and notice they aren't tallying the price displayed. They proceed to go and check, taking their sweet time.

Eventually the manager rocks up and informs as he will only sell us one item at the misrepresented price.

Can't say I'm surprised by this stuff up, as the staff's collective attitude is one of: "I'm not interested in being here and I'm actually doing you a favour buy servicing you"

A good place to go shopping as they have a wide variety of items for sale. Prices are market related with some savings on bulk purchase. I would have rated higher if their shelf prices reflected the prices on the website. Staff are friendly but their knowledge of their product range is not what it should be.

It's a big ample store, has a little bit of everything. Has good promotions. Every new client has to have a makro card to make purchases, had I known this I would have saved a lot of time because I didn't have one and stayed in like to pay, when my turn came up they sent me back to make the card.

i love shopping at Macro so much.but what frustrate me badly is the scanning of items when you just finish paying.that to me is time wasting because there is definatelt no order especially month ends.its a waste of time and money.i believe that you do have cameras the whole store including the pos.point of sale.thats the only thing i hate so much .

This is one stop shopping..everything under one roof including groceries, fashion, liquor etc etc. Can get very busy over weekends. Wheelchair accessible. Very large parking area. Coffee shop on premises

Took a whkle to get goods we cancelled to be picked up that was delivered that we did not pay for. Management should check procedures if credits are given that incorrect dispatches dont take place. People can score free goods easily.

Good selection but the que makes no sense. Open the till lines so you can choose which till to que at. It is such a waste of time to wait for a till to be available and then walk all the way down. It would be so much more efficient to que at the till with the shortest line.

Makro makes shopping so much simpler. Can find pretty much anything you need here. The liquor store is also really great. Very well stocked. Be advised that you need to have a Makro card in order to shop here- one can easily apply and acquire one at the help desk.
