It is very tempting as it allows buying in bulk but in general if you can afford its a great store
Great shoping experience all you need under one roof.pitty they cater only for small size clothes in ladies department
Very nice place to shop. Quick and friendly service. Great prices
Everything is always neat and clean and more importantly well organized. There is a wide variety to choose from and staff are ways willing to assist without having to look for them or even having to ask. They approach you in a very polite manner and ask if you need assistance unlike other stores in this category. It's logical layout saves time, what makes it difficult to "pop in and out" for a quick shop is that you'd want to spend more time looking at everything. Goods are affordable even when not buying in bulk. Cashing out is convenient and efficiently done so there is no real delays.
I bought true love magazine on the 6th Feb 2018.when I checked my goods at home that afternoon it was not there.
The following day, I went back to customer care counter. The issue was investigated. Found that the magazine was charged at the till but was left behind during packing. Thanks to Bloemfontein Makro customer care. Got my true love magazine back
Great service. Extremely helpfull staff. The line to the cashier is well organized and moves very quickly.
The staff on the floor is also very helpfull. The product I was looking for was not on the shelves after asking for help it was only a minute or 2 before i was paying for my product.
Great place for shopping! At great prices too.
A few twist and turns in the city and onto Walter Sisulu Road and you’re at Makro, Bloemfontein. You can also take it via an off-ramp on the N1 Road to or from the cross-junction between Langenhoevern Park and the University of the Free State or Bloem Gate Shopping Centre. Once at the robots, you won’t miss it because it’s a HUGE establishment with the name MAKRO in big writing. Please don’t get lost. Anyway…
Parking is awesome. It’s abundant. Be aware that you’re gonna need a Makro Card to make purchases – of any kind. The value won’t matter. The cashiers at the tills are gonna need your Makro card with your names and what looks like a customer number to unlock their machines. And to get that you’re gonna need to bring your ID or your Driver’s License with you in order to get the card. You also fill out a very small form asking for your particulars. Just your name and where you live.
However, your shopping experience well be super if you have all the time in the world to waste on a spacious building driving a cart, picking one item at a time. You will get pretty good deals such as price bundling or discounts with some departments if not most. There are high chances that you will be greeted and assisted by an enthusiastic employee. Enjoy!
Love this store! Everything under one roof. Excellent service, quality products, good prices.
Very friendly staff and helpful with a real comfortable and enjoyable place to do all your shopping under one roof
Fantastic store layout but some bulk prices were more expensive than individual items. Whats the point of buying in bulk when only a few items are cheaper
Good wholesale store. The people who work there were helpful and kind, very good store to buy goods in bulk. Loved it.
Great bargainsyou can find anything herefood, clothing, sport equipmentall under one roof
It's a wholesaler and a one stop shopping service. Prices are very reasonable too. Parking is never a problem here.
One stop store for both types of buyers. Be it bulk and small groceries. Or multimedia content and components. Or office and school stuff, from furniture to stationary. And of course for those who love DIY you'll find yourself at home.
