Its a public park. Ideal for burning off that extra energy your dog built up while you were at work. Take grandpa for a walk or have a picnic with enough space for the little ones to run around. Mountain biking is also popular here. CoCT Rangers patrol the area for your peace of mind. Leave only your foot prints!

Lovely to go and have a picnic with the family and enjoy the natural beauty, animals have a great time, just pick up their poop after them, that makes it pleasant for the rest of the visitors. Tremendous birdlife there.

This place lives up to its name. Hidden routes for walking, jogging or mountain biking, and picnic spots wide open and secluded. Want to relax? this is the place. Want to have family fun? This is the place. Want to be alone with your thoughts and gather in the goodness nature has to offer? this is the place. Want to ride your mountain bike? prepare to be rattled and then get off to walk and push your bike up hill. Be sure that you brakes are at their best this track will really put the meaning to mountain bike. All in all absolutely perfect location. Been there 4 times for about 2 hours or more and still I haven't explored everywhere. I love Majik Forest. I would give it 10 stars. If you want question safety, I will say, it isn't safe anywhere. It is safe anywhere either way you right. Enjoy Majik Forest.

One of my favourite places to take photos and go for a walk. Beautiful views. It would just be great if they could cut grass between trees a bit more regularly.

Nice place to relax, take your dogs for a walk/swim also very nice place for a picnic. Plenty of open space and even a small hiking/biking trail but the trail does need maintenance as there are fallen trees on the path so just take care. If you bring a dog please don't forget your poop packets.

This place is really near the spar, so you can buy a refreshner and head up to the forrest.
My favourite part of the forrest is left of the entrance where you walk up the bank and over see the lush greens of the morthern suburbs. You also see the dam where people fish, and having a picnic.

Good for a small stroll but more dangerous as nightfall comes. Reports of cyclists being attacked in the past.

A well-maintained pet friendly park for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Features soft green grass, trees, a dam with ducks and mountainbike trails in the forest section. Just watch out for the dodgy characters passing through from time to time.

Beautifully maintained park, using borehole water to keep the plants and grass alive at the moment.
Be careful when walking in the forest as it is part of a connection of downhill/single track mountain biking trail.
No secure parking available at the upper majik entrance so if you live in the area, best to walk down.
No cycling is permitted from this gate into the park.
This is a LEASH only dog park.
Fishing is also not permitted in this dam.
Yet the locals disobey all the above rules on a regular,so be careful of off leash dogs and mountain bikers often on the footpaths.

Lovely walk through nature in the middle of suburbia. A hidden away gem. Shady walk through the forest up to the lakes where people can fish & then back along well kept paths through the arboretum.
