Very bad booked for a place and got reference number but the following day they phoned to say it was a mistake they are fully booked

BAD BAD WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYBODY. WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT WHAT YOU GET. WE COULD NOT USE ANYTHING IN THE KITCHEN IT WAS TO DIRTY. A PIPE HAS BURST IN THE 1 BEDROOM NOBODY PHONED US TO SAY WE MUST LOOK FOR A OTHER PLACE WHEN I PHONED AT 6.30PM TO SAY THAT WE ARE LATE SHE ONLY TOLD US ABOUT THE BURST PIPE AS IT WAS A LONG WEEKEND ALL THE PLACES WAS FULLY BOOKED. SO WE HAD TO STAY THERE FOR 1 NIGHT WHAT A BAD EXPERIENCE. I DID TAKE FOTOS.

20/12/2014 - The most HORRIBLE experience ever!!! We checked in on Saturday 20/12/2014 at 5pm and left on Sunday morning after a break-in/hold-up at the cottage at 4.30am Sunday morning. Security TERRIBLE. Gate and door to cottage broken while we were asleep. Cannot explain the feeling when realization hit that we were being held-up!. All our valuables, ID's, driver's licence etc taken. Kids TOTALLY traumatised. Thankfully none of us were hurt. Owner tells us after this happened that this was the ONLY cottage with no alarm!!! It seems quite obvious then that SOMEONE knew this/timed this! Owner offered to accommodate us in the main house but NEVER even offered to refund us for the days we were not staying. How could we stay on and enjoy a holiday without cash, traumatised and knowing that the spare key to our car was in the bag that was stolen we just HAD to get out of the place . and FAST!
The place could be very nice and value for money if security beefed up.
Subsequently on 23/12/2014 the owner informed us that various steps have been implemented to improve the security and has refunded us for the two nights not stayed on.response / report this review -

Normally i don't take the effort for writing reviews, but Loerie's Guest Farm deserves it. It is a very special place if you are looking for a place to stay in Hazyview. It is about 15/30minutes drive to the kruger park. From this place you have the choice to go for three different kruger gates! Also there are some nice restaurants nearby in Hazyview, and also a big mall and supermarkets. The farm is next to a banana plantage and there is very nice nature around. The farm has nice rooms with a shower and toilet, and a very big kitchen and a nice pool! And all of that for a good price (about 320 ZAF/night i guess it was)

I enjoyed my stay at your farm I would love to come back again like we said next time it will only be ladies thanks once again
