Love visiting Limnos Bakery. Arguably the highlight of my Cape Town trip. The food is always fresh, the service on point- the venue is neat, tidy and consistently delivers the same quality food. Winning formula. Well done the management and the team. Can’t wait to come back
Place was very neat and clean, the pies was fresh and tastee but my whole mood changed when I had to pay R18 for a can of coke
The atmosphere of this coffee shop is great, but the service and food was dissapointing. We had scones that was served cold(from a fridge) and had to ask the waiter to heat it up a bit. None of the baked stuff is fresh according to the waiter. It get delivered and then kept in a freezer. We had to ask twice for cutlery. MÃ nagement please see that your waiters get trained better. We visit the restaurant for coffee on a Sunday morning at 11h00.
Well ,my hubby and I stepped in for afternoon tea, because he's always ranting and raving about limos. I wasn't sorry and will definately return. All the cakes and pastries were fresh. To my disappointment, there wasn't apple Danish, but I settle for fresh velvet cake. Atmosphere and staff were great
I enjoy Limnos in Cape Gate Shopping Centre but this Limnos in Edward Street gave us very poor service today. We were a group of 6 whose food all arrived at different times. One order was wrong and the waiter did not know which cakes they had in store. Service was really slow even though there were not many customers.
Good variety light meals and dessert. Friendly staff.
Great place for coffee and a bite to eat. Wonderful selection of cakes and pastries! Parking an issue though, expensive to park if you don't get into 1 of the allocated Limnos parking spot..very few dedicated spaces so chances are good that you will pay more for your parking than your coffee and cake!
As a sweet tooth person, i pay Limnos Bakery regular visits. Their wide selection of pastries with a combination of real good coffees is almost therapeutic for me.
Breakfast and cofee was great, waiter disappeared at times but nothing major. Cakes quite pricey though which put us off a bit the end.
Great cakes and tarts, worth going just for that! But if you really must have some "proper" food first, the menu is basic but OK. Service is OK, but could be better (especially as they are not usually that busy).
Such a lovely bakery/restaurant. They not only have good cake / coffee but food too. Known for Quality!
Cosy sit down bakery with great selection of cakes with good coffee. The bakery has been in existence for over 30 years and have built up a reputation for their quality. The service was ok and it seemed to be the only such place open on a Sunday unless one goes to a shopping mall. Their menu has a good spread.
The store itself has ample seating although the tables seemed a bit small. The toilets were clean.
Cakes are pricey but it is the best in town
Great little bakery. Friendly service- helpful staff, European feel - great presentation of the meals and drinks. Well done management!
Really nice coffee and cakes. Staff friendly and helpful, one of the only places in the area open on a Sunday for coffee and cake in the area unless you are in the mood go to a shopping mall.
Popular breakfast place. Sell good quality cakes. Service and atmosphere good.
Bakery is amazing , coffee quite average but waiters seem lost at times. Nonetheless if you in the are check it out, specially the pecan tart.
