  I love this place and will be going back! Very good selection on menu, very tasty salads and main meals. Food extremely well presented AND they only serve fresh pressed juices. Service was good! Meals are well-priced with filling portions. Single dessert portion large enough for two! Go.

  This restaurant has one of the best menus in SA. The truffle crusted fillet is one of the best things I've ever put into my mouth.

  Had a fried chicken wrap, delicious! Nice street cafe feel, great stop for an afternoon drink and snack. Nice chairs also 😁

  Love Licorish restaurant. Great menu with wide variety. The service is also really good. Friendly, helpful staff. Had the chicken bunny chow and was delicious. Also the chilli salt squid is one of my favorites.

  Slow service, we only stopped in for a drink and were hugely disappointed with the quality of the service, but it seems to be the trend at this shopping centre.
  
  Our fruit juice was warm and cocktails took forever to prepare... How long would we have waited for food. Nope, not seeing us again

  Amazing food, quite unique, and only surpassed by the lemon meringue cocktail which is both awesome and surreptitiously strong. The service is top notch, and the only downside of this restuarant is the noise/echo level of Nicolway's large open area.

  Licorish was a superb restaurant but has fallen far. This is my second and last disappointing meal there in the past few weeks. The two of us ate from the new Taster menu and the food was disappointing.

  Great food. Big issue: red wine by the glass is gross. We are in South Africa- hello? Spend R5 more and get better wine by the glass. 5 stars if thus critical gap was fixed.

  One of Johannesburg's 5 star eating experiences. The tasting plates for mains is a must have if you eat here. Prices not cheap but the place to go for the special meal and the support you see in diners says something. Reservations recommended.
