Fantastic food and hospitality in a historic protected building, right on the Graaff Reinet Road. You must visit. Once you visit you will keep on going back. Lavender Rose is a shop with lots of interesting things to buy, from clothes, shoes and jewelry and once you have finished shopping you can sit and relax in the cheerful little cofee shop and have something mouthwatering to eat :-).

Wonderful quaint little coffee shop that doesn't pretend to be anything other than an honest place to come enjoy a nice treat and what could be described as the best cappuccino in town. A hidden gem in the coal district of bump and grind shops littered along Graaf-Reinet road, its like an oasis in the desert. Try their eccentrically named cakes and the quiche is especially welcome to a hungry tummy. This place represents small town hospitality at its best.
