Not worth a single penny. Would not recommend to anyone. Firstly, no proper waiting system. We waited 10 minutes, and a family who came after us sneaked by and the host informs us: “I don’t have eyes everywhere, they slipped through.” Second, it takes the waitress 30 minutes to take an order. Another 30 minutes to bring the wine menu. Another 15 minutes to get the correct wine. Another 1 hour to bring out the food. And worst of all: we ordered 6 starters, and only 4 came out. When questioned by the waitress, she firstly refused to acknowledge the miss, and then gave a ridiculous answer: “oh the kitchen prepared fries than grilled.” What a pathetic restaurant, with pathetic service, with disappointing host and servers. Not recommended at all.

I just left the restaurant, and I am the happiest person alive right now! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by all staff and my waitress kept checking on my table each time she walked passed me. Tried the pizza and lemon butter prawn platter with rice & chip, the food was absolutely incredible, and I absolutely loved every bit of it. The atmosphere is warm and very relaxed; there is a view of margate main beach and the happenings of that area outside, & the restaurant is uniquely decorated with nameplates of previous patrons on the inside. I definitely recommend Larry's to everybody visiting the South coast.

Food was great. My big complaint is the fact patrons are allowed to smoke at the tables. We did request to move and the staff were happy to accommodate that move. Surely a no smoking policy should be enforced.

Great restaurant with an amazing ocean view. You can also see Margate beach and all the action going on there. All the personalised name plates in the restaurant makes this place very unique and interesting. Me and my family usually try to read all the names and we have a laugh if we read other people's name that is the same as ours. The food is also amazing. Great seafood, great pizzas, great everything. Also a great place if you just want to sit with a drink and enjoy the view. The service is excellent!!!

Great service, great vibe and great food just had a shell in one of my see food pizza slices. The reason I'm not giving more stars is due to the seating arrangement. Outdoor seats are too close to each other. The guy behind me kept on pushing me and it was a bit annoying. I suggest that they maybe remove one or two of the tables outside to prevent crowding. Thanks for the great time Larry's!

Cosy, family restaurant, great good curry to die for. The service and the ambience great. Will definitely go there for a bite next time I am in Margate.

Quick lunch, after 18 holes. Beautiful setting on Margate's Main Beach. Service and food were very good.

Great view of the ocean. The hanging boards with names was interesting but very gimmicky. The food was nothing notable. Pork chops had no glaze or sauce to speak off. Ribs were chewy and seafood platter was fairly average. Ocean basket and steers do a better job imo considering the price.
