Loved it, it's a family run establishment which is really well located with easy beach access. Has all the basics with plenty of personal attention. Would definitely camp there again.
Good camp owners helpful and friendly. Sites abit uneven.
Certainly is a hidden gem as a previous review mentions. The park is spotless, the sites are neat and tidy with power too. Both the ladies and gents ablutions are neat and tidy and regularly cleaned. From the park pedestrian gate to the beach sand is a short walk of about 75 metres - an absolute delight compared to some parks. A games room with TV and a pool to cool off in on the windy days, which is situated near a tree for shade.
Place where chosen children are accepted. Lovely caravan shot excellent solutions and right on the sea.
Wonderful owners. Safe and clean. Lovely campsites
Lalanathi is a hidden gem of a camping/caravan park on the beautiful KwaZulu Natal South Coast. Many sites are deeply shaded, many are leveled. Ablutions are very colourful & spotless. Good wash-up facilities. The owners, Barry & Charlotte and their sons go way beyond the call of duty to make guests welcome & comfortable during their stay. We all loved seeing their Indian Runner ducks doing their daily rounds of the grounds. Rates are very reasonable.
Awesome caravan site. All sites are clean and love the style of the ablutions. Owners make you feel welcome
The best camping park I know
We had a wonderful weekend camping at Lalanathi. The place was very clean and the owners were very helpful. We will definitely be returning for more family weekends.
I am not sure what the last reviewer was smoking, but having travelled the South coast almost every weekend for the past few years and having stayed at most parks, I can tell you Lalanathi is one of the best kept secrets on the South Coast.
Its a small, well run family orientated park with outstanding facilities, clean ablutions and plenty of room between the stands, not to mention that the area is SPOTLESS.
As for the ducks, yes there are ducks and they are a wonderful addition to the park. The kids love them as do the adults and it gives a real feeling of being outdoors. So Penny my dear, perhaps you should consider staying at the holiday in next time, camping just does not seem to be your thing.
