We just returned back to Johannesburg from this wonderful place. This morning we had a coffee outside in the garden with a hippo grazing next to us.
The owners of the place Andre and Thea are such a good people, giving everything out of themselves to make you feel comfortable and keeping you informed about the activities and interesting places in the area.
Very clean, smelling like paradise chalets, with everything you'd need to spend quality time.
The garden is amazing and the hippos like it too.

I love the atmosphere in this great little spot. Situated in a quiet part of town, on the estuary, this place is rustic and relaxed. This is not luxury, but their reasonable prices reflects this. I however felt that I had everything I needed, and loved the bush-feel of the place a lot. The owners are both very friendly and pleasant people. Thea will help you organise trips in the area, and will even go hippo-spotting with you at night if you ask nicely. I really enjoyed my stay here, will recommend to the budget conscious traveller.
