A really great place full of amazing views. Lots of animals to see and activities to do. Definitely worth doing the zip line tour.

Love Lake Eland, some good game views. No much else to do with little kids though. They try and cater for them but it is easier with older kids. 5+ would work. Still do able with toddlers if they don't mind being in a car for 5 hours. Pack lots of snacks and juice. Selections at the reserve is limited and expensive.

A bit expensive, but for adrenalin junkies the zip lines and cycling routes are awesome. Then on the opposite side of adrenalin junkies there is places of peace and tranquillity. Well worth a visit.

Loved this place! Such an amazing experience with the really shaky, high bridge. And not forgetting the amazing game drive!

The only thing I disliked was the drive to the place.. felt a bit scary with the lack of lighting on the road.. It's also a bit narrow .. especially going up that mountain/Hill.

I stayed in the chalets on the lake and is was awesome. Not too expensive, romantic and views to kill for. Lying on the bed I saw various buck on the hill across the lake. I loved the bird life and view from the deck. Very well equipped accommodation with good coffee on the tea tray (To me coffee quality is judge of accommodation quality).

You don't have to go all the way up the coast to find wild animals, we have this fantastic reserve right on our doorstep!

We saw so many animals right in front of our cabin, as well as on the sides of the road when you drive to the zipline / suspension bridge.

The units are very well maintained and clean with everything you need (and more) for a self catering trip - comfortable beds, quality linen, a massive corner bath, shower, all the kitchen essentials.

The view is absolutely amazing and we loved the frogs singing to us all night. There is so much to do on the reserve you can never be bored!

It is also ideal for just relaxing though, you can spend hours just sitting on the deck listening to the birds and insects.

One of our favourite places, we visited for one night in August this year (2015) and again in October because there was still so much to see and do.

Definitely a great place to go to just get away from the stress of city life and find some peace.

We would recommend if you are going as a couple, ask for a unit by the second lake (this is further away from the on-site restaurant and entertainment area for the kids).

We went to the reserve as part of a Scout hike, the Scouts hiked 34KM in and around the reserve, whilst the adults enjoyed the wildlife and serenity of the reserve.
