The best accommodation ihave stayed at ever.. Including all my international trips..this was without a doubt the winner..the rooms were immaculate,the finest linen and excellent bed..the attention to detail was phenomenonal.
IN the morning after an excellent breakfast ww found that our dusty car had been washed without even asking! Highly recommended

Did not find this a very friendly or welcoming holiday stay, but it was immaculately presented. It was close to a road was busy in the mornings with large trucks (which they said was unusual). In fairness the he staff did try hard to fix things which were the fault of our travel agent, but it felt a little like we went back to 1954 and it was not really to my family's liking, (got the impression my family was not to their liking either)

Think this retreat would best suit the older traveler who was less worried about their 8 year old playing with the antiques, or perhaps someone fascinated by Ostriches.

Sneaked off to KFC on second night for light relief, but didn't tell the commandant.

The place looks marvelous, however beds are rather short and WiFi is weak. Staff is very friendly, breakfast is OK.

You must stay here! It's beautiful and so unique! The food is to die for and the rooms are all individual and stunning!! So peaceful at night and on a starry night you get a great view of the Southern Hemispheres constellations 🌌

Wonderful place with private, beautifully decorated en-suite rooms. Breakfast included: buffet style and absolutely delicious. Owner, manager and staff all helpful and friendly. Amazing property and views.

We stayed at La Plume in the middle of January 2015. The rooms were very beautiful, to a high detail, and very clean. The food was delicious and we were made very welcome. Highly recommended.
