This is one of my best experience in northern South Africa. I’ve spent here more or less two months with my family and everybody enjoyed that period. We stayed in a friend of mine villa … actually more a small village than a villa. One of the roughly 150 that populate the 10.000 hectares of private reserve. Here there are several kinds of game, a lot of different scenarios and a small are devoted to breeding.
Amazing landscapes, rivers, valleys, wonderful sunset.

Kudu Private Nature Reserve is a residential estate with 125 1ha full title private residences within a 500 ha nature reserve. The reserve has 99% of endemic game species roaming free on the reserve.

They have a breeding program with rare game species which include disease free buffalo and sable antelope. The proceeds of game sales is obviously used to improve the infrastructure on the reserve.

The model for nature conservation established here is hailed as the future of global nature conservation and in short consist of private investors into nature conservation while they have the benefit of exclusive access to the reserve.
