If you are a Bloemfonteiner, you know - and shop - at Kloppers; a family owned department store. It is the Free State’s mini Harrods. (Admittedly there are a few differences 🤨, but I don’t have to pay £1 to visit the Kloppers cloakroom).
You can get anything from stationery, carpentry, painting, plumbing, sporting goods and clothes, gardening, pools, and outdoor activity equipment to cutlery, crockery, appliances, electronics, computers, televisions, gadgets,
If they don’t have it in stock, ask. Their client service is excellent. I almost always see a Klopper brother on the floor. Prices are good. After sales service is the best, therefore it is the place to shop.response / report this review -

Wow, absolutely great service from Nick. Bought a tent online and he went out of his way to organise and assist us to get the tent. We are from KZN. Big thumbs up. Will buy from you again.

Service is defined by how you handle problems. Not when things are going well. Took a very expensive electronic item back within 6 months of purchase. Other retailers simply swop out the goods if returned within 6 months. Not Kloppers. My item is sent in to be repaired (and probably scratched and damaged). No word on how long it will take either. Now I sit without the item for I don't know how long. Wouldn't buy a pencil from this store again. Makro would have swopped it out no questions asked. Sometimes even after the initial 6 month period.

It's a boring experience as it's just a massive store with no personality. You only get service if you ask for it and at times there usually engaging in useless conversation. I've had to ask them on more than one occasion to help me.

Kloppers has everything you need in and from a department store. Great value and great after sales service. Staff on the floor are not always that well trained in customer service or well versed in product knowledge i.e. one needs to ask for help. Staff in their Gunns and Ammo department needs serious attention ..

Here you can buy almost anything at a reasonable price. Friendly staff to help you get what you need or advise about a product. Great place to shop!!
