We had made an up-front reservation for Sunday breakfast, in order to assist the kitchen with organisation. The food was absolutely terrible - it was completely cold , the eggs were congealed, no toast was offered, only soggy sliced bread which had been lying open for too long and the pap was like dry breadcrumbs. Coffee and tea was readily available but the mugs stank of filthy dishwater and the coffee had oil floating on it which was obviously from the dirty dishwater used to 'wash' the mugs. For this disgusting breakfast we paid R60 per person. It was an insult to be served food like this.

Terrible restaurant service. Waited an hour for one coffee after asking the waiter various times. Also asked 3 times to order breakfastbut the 3 rd time the waiter informed me that the kitchen is now closed for sunday lunch buffet. Nice venue. Good view.

Lovely to visit with the kids over the weekend. Our favorite weekend quick getaway destination for Harley Enthusiasts, Cyclists, and all bikers alike as well as girls and guys who just like to drive out with their Sport Cars to have lunch at the great restaurant there. Over weekends there is often entertainment for kids as well. But the great attraction is obviously those elegant men with their flying machines!
You are likely to see an exceptional variety of all sorts of aircraft and airplanes, gyro-copters, Ultralights, Microlights, Helicopters and the like, some classic planes, and some ultra modern state of the art machines too. You will love it. But remember, although the Clubhouse and Restaurant would be open during the week too, it is relatively quite during the weekdays, most action happens over weekends, early mornings and late afternoons are even busier.
