  What a lovely meal - great atmosfeer staff and food.
  We had the Ribs and Calamari - O boy! The ribs are fork tender and the calamari melts in you’re mouth!
  Money well spend!

  NO STARS is my real rating
  We went to the restaurant at 3;00 pm last Friday. There were only two other people in the restaurant. so not busy. I ordered the deep fried calamari. What arrived was a barely warm dish of calamari. I can best described it as something that resembled the consistently of pasta. Not once during the meal did the waitress ask how the meals were. When she came to collect the dishes she did not ask why I left most of my meal. Dumb founded I paid the bill in full and wrote on the back how disgusting the meal was. I handed in the note to the cashier telling him how disgusting the meal was. I was expecting an apology but he just looked at me, said nothing and then carried on with what he was doing.

  Very good sushi. Beautiful ocean view. Service is good regardless the fact that the place was packed.

  We lunched at Kingfisher in February of 2017
  
  We will not recommend this place to anyone.
  
  The good:
  Great view which makes for a nice atmosphere for a seafood restaurant.
  Their garlic butter mussels are absolutely amazing.
  
  The bad:
  Service was quite slow.
  The food in general was pretty crappy. The sushi was very bland. We ordered a fish burger which can be amazing, but they really don't know how to make a fish patty. We also ordered a Jacks platter which is a mussel and calamari combo, as we said, the mussels were fantastic. The calamari was bland without the 'tar tar' sauce, which was just sandwich spread.
  The worst of it all was the salad that we got with the platter. Pretty plain, but the feta cheese was off, all yellow and very sour. That was so nasty.
  Also, the one plate was chipped badly, which is not cool for a public place

  The restaurant is nice looking. The food was quite nice, although nothing special. The seafood curry didn't really taste well, there were even some way too hard (overcooked?) parts in it... Maybe it's better usually but this time it wasn't so great. The vegetable bake was nice though, and the other food was good too. Also, the service was really nice.

  Big servings of mediocre food. That is all we can say. The service was good. The seafood platter type of dish was dripping in fat. The food was salty. They can do better and should.
