I called in to request to speak to a salesman as I wanted to buy a car. till today no one called me. maybe they think I don't have money to buy the car. don't judge the book by its cover.

Was travelling through on a road trip when a strange nose in the engine came and went a few times.
They spent a few hours helping to find the source of the problem without charging me.
Frendly and helpful service including providing transport to nearby shopping centre while we waited

Switchboard goes unanswered since the last two days that i have treid to call, and you cannot get through to the extension you requested once transferred. I have to leave my office and head to John Williams without an appointment just to consult on something.

I love it because it sells great cars. Also because you can visit it after hours and at night even, and you'll still be able to view cars for sale

My vehicle,a chrysler grand voyager 2.8lx CRD auto 2009 model on the 11th of june2016,cut out and stopped in Rudolf Greyling Road Estoire , Bloemfontein. After a few attempts to start it,I didn't succeed.I called my insurance company and they arranged a towtruck to fetch my vehicle. It was taken to John Williams.I called on Monday the 13th,I called and they confirmed that my vehicle was there and they will call me once they have determined what the problem is.They called and informed me that a sensor was faulty and needs to be replaced. They also gave me the cost of the work. After 2 days or so,I was told that the tone wheel was faulty and to replace it,they need to remove the gearbox. The work would cost me a lot but I agreed.I wanted my vehicle fixed because we booked a holiday in st.Lucia and had to leave on the 24th.They told me that the part will be delivered after 3 days.I called them on the 21st and they said they received the part and it will take them 2days to fix everything.I made them aware of my trip and they said my vehicle will be done before we leave.Early on the 23rd I called and they assured me that my vehicle will be ready that afternoon.Late that day, they called and told me that my vehicle is fine but they will have to charge the car's battery overnight.I was disappointed because I intended to leave early the next morning, but I said it's fine. The next morning I was dropped off early.I was told to relax and have coffee while they wait for the mechanic. They then came and told me the battery is not fully charged and need to be charged a while longer.I waited another hour and was told to wait while they do some other test.Later I was told that my gearbox has a problem. It only runs in the 1st gear. They did diagnostics and still could not find the problem.I could not understand because the gearbox was not the cause why my vehicle was brought in.When they tested the vehicle before removing the gearbox, they didn't complain about my gearbox. After waiting for almost 4 hours they told me that I should leave the vehicle and they will do further test.I wanted to know what to do now because I had to leave for St.Lucia.They said that it was not their problem and arranged for transport to take me home.I was angry because a company as big as theirs could have given me a courtesy vehicle.I left and borrowed a vehicle from my brother. The vehicle was not serviced but I took it nonetheless. It was a nerve wrecking trip since it was very late and the vehicle was not prepared for this trip.I experienced a problem with its battery but we sorted the problem. When I came back after a week I had to contact the workshop to find out how far they went in fixing my vehicle.I noticed that my vehicle was never touched and only then was I promised that further test would be done.I called after 2 days and was told the have not found the fault yet.I called again after a day and was told that I must buy a new gearbox to which I refused because it was way too expensive.I wanted to know why the gearbox could be a problem since it didn't caused the problem initially. They gave me their reasons and asked me come and pay. After paying I had to arrange to fetch the vehicle and bring it home.I am really not satisfied after spending that much money, my vehicle is still not driveable.I feel that the mechanics are either not skilled enough or they simply blame their clients for their mistakes.John Williams is not good when coming to service.
