Service was really bad. Had to wait 15mins just to order something to drink. Then had to wait an hour for my sushi which was standing ons the table for half an hour and then had to wait another 15 mins just to get the bill. It is ridiculous that a franchise that wasn't even busy has such poor service

About as good as most branches, however their service and quality suffers severely during busy periods, half price sushi was a prime example, every single dish was wrong and missing ingredients, assistant manager eventually comped us a few dishes because even he was embarrassed by the continued mistakes. Then a few days later, had similar quality issues when there only two tables in the entire restaraunt.

Its was anniversary 4th March .From the moment we entered ,we was treated with so much care.the waitress so friendly and on the ball. Its a pitty i forgot her name. The food was lovely. We have had john Dorys at other places and taut it would be the same old stuff. But the 1 can see the effort put into preparation of thr food. Tasted better than the other places. The portion was alot compared to the john Dorys. They have the seating area and view. We saw hippos that night which made it awesome#love john Dorys st lucia

Second visit to this restaurant. The service is average as the waiters sometimes take long to serve food as it can get quite busy during peak times. The oysters were not fresh on my first visit. The sushi options are very good and the sushi is tasty and freshly prepared. They also have a sushi bar.

Terrible service. Tables were waiting over two hours for their food. The waiting time for sushi was at minimum an half hour. The whole restuarant was full of unhappy hungry people. Its the festive holidays, it should be a given that places like this will be busy. Poor management and planning. Waited almost a half hour for oysters. The 4 sushi plates we received over a period of 2 hours was still very good. The waiter was friendly and apologetic, therefore the 2 stars.

The fish in this restaurant is very fresh. Sushi is the best Ive ever tried in SA. Hope they have as good sushi in Pretoria as in St. Lucia
