Misdiagnosis and overpriced. Not comforting at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone. So Unfair!!!!!

The shop is nice and staff friendly. The Dr is just a bit too talkative for my taste.

My poor dog had to have an operation. He was admitted the Saturday. I made it clear he was house trained and need to be taken out to pee. I visited the next morning during visiting hours. He started peeing as he could not hold it in anymore. He wasn't taken outside for a full day. His IV was chews off and just left that way which caused his paw to swell to double its size. I asked the vet in the passage if I may take him home and bring back the next morning since he will only be operated on the Monday. The vet refused and even charged me another consultation fee for just asking a question in the passage.
I never saw my beloved Oscar again. He died there.
I highly recommend you NEVER visit this establishment. Berg Animal Clinic just op Frates Road in Annie Botha Ave is 1000x better and actually care about animals more than making money.response / report this review -

5 months ago we saved a beautiful cat off the street and called him Kai and we choose to give him a home, we took him to jakaranda animal clinic to find out if he's okay and to do check ups
The vet told us he was a healthy 2 year old little boy and all he needed was antibiotics for the sores in his mouth,
From there we moved to Lynnwood and Kai' s health dropped dramatically, he lost all his weight and all his energy, went to see a new vet who immediately said he has kidney problems and diabetes, and said he that Kai was alot older than 10 years
If jakaranda vet could have told us a Kai real age we would and done proper checks we could have started doing something sooner for his diatese but now it's too late and we lost our little baby
The age of an animal determines alot about his health, get your facts straight so this doesn't happen to another family💔response / report this review -
