We quickly went in for a drink to find that Hops Halloe have 6 craft beers on tap which they brew at the premises. The fire place gave a nice homy feel. They have beer tasting and we enjoyed a quick snack. I would recommend this place as a stop over.

Micro brewery with Belgium/German style beers in a lovely setting. Their sixth beer is now available on site - the Red Pale Ale. The owners are friendly and accommodating.
There is a B&B on site.

One of my favourite places in S.A. Delicious burgers, excellent beer and the two cutest dogs on the property. Beautiful location on a mist free day! You can take a tour of the brewery or take a stroll around the beautiful garden. Very friendly service. I strongly recommend the gluhbeer on a cold day.

A rather isolated B&B with in-house brewery. Rooms look very comfortable albeit small. Five beers on offer, rather thin drinking and lacking bitterness, but the resident brewer explained that's their style for "easier drinking" / maybe hence the "hops hollow".

The Hops Hollow Brewery (the highest in Africa) has a magnificent setting on the Long Tom Pass, well kept gardens and most importantly, fantastic beer! The brew-master will personally explain and recommend their beers and they are truly excellent!
