The restaurant has been a favorite for many years, the service and food is still excellent. The traffic mainly large trucks passing by on the road in-front are a definite put off. Once a great place is now smoked out by diesel fumes and noise as large trucks avoid the toll roads and pass through Parys. A real pity.

We came for the wine route festival this weekend and was hoping for a good meal. Their vegetarian dishes are absolutely disgusting. It's tastes like dishwater. Actually my dishwater might have better flavor than this restaurant. We ordered 2 of THE ONLY vegetarian dishes they had and they lacked almost every single box. I WOULD NOT recommend this restaurant, I might assume that if their vegetarian dishes taste this way their only guidence in flavor is the meat they use and I have little hope that it merits any compliments. VERY DISAPPOINTING

The decor of the place is stunning, really cool. The menu is very mixed, I missed a little bit the consistency. I had an ostrich burger with beetroot pesto - nice idea but the taste was only average and it was cold when it arrived after almost 40 minutes. The prices are rather high; not sure if it's worth it The service was perfect.

Lovely menu, not just eggs and bacon. I had the eggs and asparagus with lemon dressing. It was very good.

Menu interesting. Drinks exiting and well presented. Food options a little bit restricted.Very good view. Interesting decor. Pricey, but over all a very nice experience.

Terrible servive. The staff had time to move us from a table that was booked but not to take our order. We moved to another table that was no problem for us, but after moving we did not get any service.
There was only 3 tables that were being served so it was not like the place was full. I will never go back there.response / report this review -

Very cramped seating and service was exceptionally slow. Had to standup and get a waiters attention twice. Food is average with an escalated price. Won't be going back anytime soon

Just changing my review from the last time I was here. We made a reservation for 7pm and only received our table at 8pm. We were a bit disgusted in the management. What is the point of a reservation then? None the less, Great vibe, nice and relaxed. Big variety of gin and beer. Food is good quality and not overpriced! So I will probably go again, just without a reservation.

Lunch with a view - Good food and wine. Nice view of the hustle and bustle of the main street when sitting outside on the balcony. A bit steep though.

The perfect lunchtime restaurant in Parys. Enjoy a beer from their very extensive selection. Be warned, lunch menu items only served after 12:00 and breakfast menu ends at 12:00.
