Great local spot with friendly staff, and delicious coffee and cheesecake.
The best fish and home made chips I have ever tasted. Beautiful view and this little place is even licenced.
Coffee 25% more expensive than Woolworth's coffee but not as good. Also, the milk used appears to be long life as it is quite watery.
Blueberry cheesecake had a few specks of blueberry and was quite expensive as was the carrot cake which was very sweet but it was nice.
The bill for two lattes, one cheesecake and one carrot cake came to R148. I handed the waitress R200 and she cheekily asked if I wanted any change.
I like good coffee but I didn't like theirs.
Terrible service, arrived at 1:45 were told that the kitchen is closing at 2 and quickly ordered a tramezzini. The lady from the till then appeared and said we could not have food and only cake. Grudgingly we ordered the cake and what turned out to be the worst iced coffee ever. Before the drinks or food arrived I was presented with the bill and told to pay, when I choose not to tip and explained why I was given attitude. Definitely won't be back!
What a lovely place for a quick pop in, quick delicious treat and continue with travels.
The space is not that big and seating are limited but die to local and style it's benefitial to traveller's and tourists. The old lady is very sweet and kind but one only wishes to stay there forever. It's warm, homely and Tranquil.
Good food and a quite place to relax with a exceptional view
