A truly wild paradise here in Northern KwaZulu-Natal, blessed with a full spectrum of Big 5 animals, as well as an impressive bird count. Not overly busy - despite the school holiday season - except on the main tarmac through road. Great sightings, and perfect for a family getaway 👌

The wildlife reserve is a wonderful experience. We visit it every chance we get. The roads have improved but the Park's map need an updated version. The facilities are clean and well serviced. Accommodation is brilliant.

A great (and large) game reserve only 2h30min drive from Durban. Has one of the highest concentrations of wild dogs in world which are considered endangered. One can go on 'self-drive' safari's which is easier on the budget. Certain lodges also offer bush walks, these must be booked in advance but are an incredible experience. Common sightings include elephant, buffalo, white rhino, various antelope and the big cats. TIP: ask at the gate/reception if you can be added to the park whatsapp group. Here sightings are reported daily!

We had a really nice and helpful guide. He gave his best to show us as much as possible but with the time we needed (to photograph). We also saw many animals and had the luck to see some lions walk over the street. Also the nature is really beautiful and the view is awesome. I can totally recommend this.

We keep coming back!! Is a beautiful day for the kids and family together. I love that a place may look similar but never the same! The animals look healthy and we're always Lucky to see quite a few different types to catch on camera for memories.. you should buy a map before heading out for the day and make sure to bring along loads of refreshments for the way as there is only one small shop in the middle of the park and then another near the exit.. take a has cooler and some eggs and bacon to cook up a yummy breakfast at a picnic spot before heading out for the rest of the day..

Great natural beauty. Reception staff are in desperate need of hospitality training. Security guard was very friendly and could give them some tips.

Very large, and very green park. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. We had the luck to do a game drive with only two other (and also dutch) tourists, in late september. The park is less crowded then. We saw lots of wildlife, including a chameleon! Lucky, our driver, did his very best to show us everything, and we even came eye to eye with a rhino, which was super impressive :)

Nice sized game park that the staff do their best to maintain despite poor funding from government and the problem of poachers. You have to give the staff credit for their dedication. You are going to see most of the big animals within the first few hours in the park. Keep your eyes open and you will find a lot of memorable things big and small to photograph. Pack a picnic basket and enjoy a lovely outing in the African bush.

Great wildlife park with self drive or guided options. Features all of the big 5 plus many more. Days of different driving loops to follow so never a dull moment!

Brilliantly run and managed. Perfect stop over for bringing foreign tourists. Wide variety of game and routes to take in order to see them.

A truly massive game reserve with a lot of wildlife to see. A central picnic spot supplies unleaded fuel, hosts a curio shop, has some great views and public restrooms are available. Decent roads throughout the reserve which a regular street car can easily navigate, but would be better to visit with an off-road vehicle.

Lovely reserve with great lookouts. We didn't see that many animals on our visit though. Had a bit of a scare when we rounded a curve on a one lane track and found a car half off the track blocking it. No one to be seen. We didn't approach it, rather reversed our way out. Spoke to the guard on check out, indicated that that had happened before. Hum, best advice leave your valuables in the hotel safe.
