These guys will fix your system with sub-par parts, make it work just long enough to get paid, then have it break down in a month or two to land another call out. Avoid.

Dont use this company! Their contractor arrived without the right tools. He then proceeded to break a copper pipe and the pencil filter and let all the gas run out. WITHOUT asking or quoting. Then promptly said it would cost R2400 to fix and the compressor was faulty while I could hear it worked fine and was warm as it should be. I explained he had no permission to break a pipe and let all the gas out. He shouted at us and left us with a fridge that had a broken pipe and no gas. We got another company is and they explained the fridge just needed to be regased and that Hillz had actually broken various parts and that they needed to just regas. It cost us R350 to regas but another R1500 to fix the broken pencil filter and piping that hillz broke. Had we just used the second company it would have R350. I tried calling Niki but she now ignores my calls. I expect Hillz are replacing "broken condensers" which are fine. Then taking your perfectly fine compressor charging you and selling your compressor to the next person they con. And so on. Should be investigated. My fridge is now working perfect WITH THE SAME CONDENSER. When you crooks at Hillz Scam Refrigeration respond to this, to as usual, dismiss liability and pass blam to a customer. Why don't you self reflect and lookm at your rating, how many people you have upset, and how many are left out of pocket because of your unethical practices. Your company is a shame.

What a great service by the Hillz team. They repaired my Hisense fridge in no time at all. Will definitely recommend using them. Keep up the good work guys.

Hills refrigeration does not disappoint. Bravo to you guys. If I ever run into any problems with my refrigerator or air conditioner I know where to go. I really appreciate your services.

SCAM ALERT!!
Use this company if you want to throw your money down the drain.
Fridge has issues where the temperature was hovering at 15 degrees vs the desired temp of 1 degrees.
Charged for call out fee of R250, then they said the motor and sensors are faulty. Was charged R1668 for parts. They replaced the parts and said the fridge is fixed.
Next day, no difference.
Phoned back to get the tech out again, the tech says the the fridge displays says 1 degrees so the fridge is working and I must not call the tech out for no reason, when in fact the fridge is showing 13 to 16 degrees using multiple of digital thermometers.
Then I complained back and asked to either fix the fridge or refund. They sent out the tech again, but tapped the fridge twice and left within 3min.
When I phoned back, suddenly the freezer is faulty and its not their fault that the fridge is not working. Where every time a tech came, they ensured that the fridge is working.
After 1 months of going back and forth, this company is only trying to scam people, whilst lying on the customers face and giving false promises.
The management is not even reachable and did not step in to solve the issue. Only hiding behind their computers and replying to public ratings like this.
I'm very keen to see what kind of excuses they will post here.response / report this review -
