  Thought going in the middle of the week, during the morning hours would be quiet... It was not. Be prepared to spend lots of time going through the isles. The place itself is messy. There are some goods that's priced better than anywhere else. (beware not everything is cheaper). Queues can get long, when you hit peak hours

  Price and surity is what brings me here. Rather good variety foods, groceries and meats. All is halaal, which works for me because I don't have to read the labels to see if the food contains pork. A little cafe for a quick cup of tea and something to eat. Specials and sometime more extreme specials every week keeps me happy and returning for more.

  Do you need to get diabetes fast? Then this is the place for you. Sweets and chocolates in bulk at bargain basement prices. Why eat real food when sugar will do just as well?

  Really great shop. Friendly staff, great prices and huge range of products. The place is always busy and the queues are sometimes long, but the cashiers do their best in working as fast/efficient as possible. They also opened a new teller for people that only have a handful of items. Great call guys!!!
  
  Even just before Christmas when the shop was extremely busy and I only wanted to get a few stuff I didn't feel like I'm waiting forever in the queues. The one time when the queues was extremely long one of the managers started to greet the customers and giving out few sweets just to make the wait a bit more bearable. You don't see that to often but it's really appreciated.
  
  Keep up the good prices and quality products and you will see me for many years to come.

  Almost overwhelming with the sheer amount of stock in this store, but even so a wonderful experience hunting through the isles to find the best bargins and trust me there's loads of them. Really nice staff too.

  Tons of sweets stuck together in bulk bags. Looks like it melted in the sun. Quite a few different brands with this problem. Lots of items with best before dates already reached and on sale. Yuck. Not as large a variety as one would expect.

  There is always a discount at Giant Cape Gate. Staff are helpful and friendly. Prices are so good. One item was R7 cheaper than Checkers. This is my everyday shopping store. Bread stays fresh longer than from other stores. Milk is the cheapest you can find in this area. I love shopping at Giant Cape Gate

  We shop at Giants as often as we can. You will find so many bargains that you end up spending so much more than you intended. We've bought things we've never heard of before and its become part of our normal shopping as we enjoy most everything we buy there and its really the cheapest place around.

  The diversity of products with a affordable price and the personal are so amazing. Despite how big the shop is. If I needed a small thing they were willing to help and they knew specifically where to find it.
