Your One-Stop-Mall. Guaranteed to find all you want & need and more. Incredibly huge, be sure not to get lost. 4-5 floors with a broad range of stores and restuarants, both local and international. Monday -Thursday (closes at 7pm) Friday - Sunday (closes at 9pm). These times apply to retail and grocery stores, restaurants and casino's are kept open for much longer
A simple mall with all your regular chain stores - cinema and entertainment for kids. There are a few pop up stands. Restaurants inside and outside the mall. Within walking distance of hotels
It's a huge mall with a variety of shops. The outside set up / layout has a European theme to it. It is positioned ideally to other amenities.
Trying to understand pay-parking might not be easy. Some drivers like to drive a bit too fast for that busy area. Entrances to the various gates are not clearly marked out.
Love love love this place. Really awesome things to find and eat. You can really indulge in this place. The movie house is awesome and there's halaal food and lots of sweet treats. There's also games to stay entertained and I think you can definitely find what you're looking for in this place. Some places are a little far apart from each other but I guess it's all the same with big shopping malls.
Gateway is FABULOUS!!! There's EVERYTHING that your heart desires in this mall. Great restaurants (inside & outside) with various options available, trendy stores, budget friendly stores, designer stores & exclusive stores Spectacular entertainment arena for the adults & kids. There's parking on various levels & its well structured This is my favorite mall in Durban & it is the BEST!!!
Everything you need and more under one roof. Great entertainment for the entire family. A variety of great food to choose from. Good workout with all the walking. Roads leading to parking and parking entrances need to be more informative. You not sure which entrance to take depending on your visit to the mall.
Best mall to go to in Durban. There is a huge selection of stores, with some international stores coming in soon with their renovations and extensions. It's generally not too busy, only getting very crazy when schools are closed. It's never dirty and is well maintained. The information desk always has people that are very helpful and friendly.
Wide variety of shops. Ample parking. So much to do and see. Was a very nice experience. I took my my daughter to a very nice coffee shoppe with the most delicious cakes for her birthday and we couldn't chose between all the cakes as the one looked better then the next!
Massive, great range of stores, friendly & helpful staff, parking is easy to access & has some diligent car washers on standby.
The size of the mall will confuse those not accustomed to it though.
Still, great place to find most things one would be looking for at a mall.
Close to the N3.
From Typo to Guess, Gateway Theatre of Shopping has it all. Set in an upmarket area, the mall is bustling with tourists and locals. Extravagant international brands and resturants fill the air. Home to one of Durban's best amusement water parks, The Wave House, remains a popular attraction, especially for the youth. Entertainment such as cinemas are of world class standards. Close to the mall lies one of the most beautiful parks around the city and is known to have markets every weekend. Gateway is a go-to place, not only for many of the locals, but also for tourists. With world class architecture, restaurants and stores, Gateway The Theatre of Shopping certainly spells extravagance.
Pretty standard shopping center. Has almost everything you'd expect.
