A wonderful rehabilitation centre for all wildlife.
An excellent non-profit that takes in injured or rescued indigenous wildlife to rehabilitate then release
Best place to bring found or hurt indigenous wild animals. Friends of Free Wildlife care for, rehabilitate and release wild animals in South Africa, especially dealing with a lot of birds. Volunteers are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
Took a hurt terrpin (Water tortoise) there. It had a hole in it's shell & underbelly. Large birds were picking at it & it was clearly badly hurt. It was found here in the Bridle Park A/H area. They are so helpful & caring & took the little creature in. Wonderful caring staff who work there & true animal lovers. I will definately volunteer my time to this amazing team of people who clearly love nature & all it's inhabitants.
Took a young bird my cat caught and injured. Open on a Sunday as well which is great. Great people and great initiative
