Most unhelpful, unwilling, unsympathetic, money hungry vets.

I was faced with the traumatizing event of my fur baby passing away. I didn't know what to do as it was so unexpected and I was devastated. Upon arrival, the guy at reception was very helpful and assisted me. The vet on the other hand, had no sympathy, no empathy no compassion, and kept on referring to my dog as "it".

After paying a fortune for cremation and postmortem, I have not received any feedback. On a daily basis I have called them only to be told that the vet is not there and he will get back to me, that has never happened.

I had to call IDEXX myself to find out if the have received my dog and whether or not the postmortem has happened. They were even kind enough to inform me that she was sent to Legacy pet for cremation. I myself then called Legacy cremation and they informed me that she was indeed cremated and that her remains would be by Florida Veterinary Hospital the Friday. Saturday again I had to call them to find out if they have received the remains, which was then confirmed that it was there.

I requested her remains to be delivered in a silver urn, which wasn't done. The remains was received in a wooden box. Now 2 weeks later I'm still waiting for the postmortem results and still I get the same "unbothered" answer. The vet will call me back.

I will never go back to this clinic nor will I even recommend this clinic to anyone I know after the horrible experience I've had.

My dogs have been going to florida vet since they where little pups. The service is always friendly and the doctors are excellent! They even helped me 23:00 o'clock at night with a emergency. Well done keep up the good work.

the best service always with compassion and genuine concern. I have taken six different dogs at various times over the last 20 years. I will be relocating to Natal and am sorry to leave them. thank you all for your excellent care of the animals and our family at sad times. bless you in your work.
