What a treasure for the families that visit Greyton. We went looking for pizza for 2 young kids and a huge dog, 2 surly teenagers and 4 adults. After being turned away at a snooty restaurant up the road that didn’t open till 12 - we wandered a bit further and saw not only pizza ( like pot of gold at the end of a 3 year old’s long trek down Main Rd, Greyton) but a play area. We were seated quickly near said play area and the kids disappeared into a variety of appetite inducing play apparatus.
Our order came relatively quickly and was good standard family fare. The staff were friendly and efficient and willing to split the two scoop ice cream dessert into 2 bowls for the little ones. The Garden Centre is beautifully laid out and charming. An excellent 2 hours, and 6 happy humans, 2 exhausted but happy children and the massive dog who was fawned over by everyone! The bill came to over R800 including a good tip for 4 main meals, one side order of fries, 5 desserts and drinks for everyone except the kids - exceptional value for an excellent afternoon.response / report this review -

A lovely restaurant set within the garden centre. Inside and outside seating options. Breakfast was great, if a little bit slow. Friendly, unobtrusive service. A definite repeat option.

Nice coffee shop with garden. Friendly staff but waiter seemed new. Asked for soft egg but it came medium. The food was okay.

A beautiful, natural, peaceful setting. Very friendly staff. Lovely and fresh food. Wonderful milkshakes too! Definite recommendation!
