What makes our institutions of higher learning to be fallacy its the lack of understanding policies.

The TVET sector has good policies but the people employed do not understand on how to interpret these policies which makes it difficult for students also to understand policies that governs then.

Students you are advised to make a follow up on your tuition fee since majority of students receive accommodation and transport allowances but they have not signed anything with NSFAS.

NB: Getting allowances of transport or accommodation does not make you a beneficiary of NSFAS therefor you will be owing the college tuition fee.

It has been 3 days since all campuses have shutten down and these are the facts that I'm bringing.

Engineering nated students are loosing their time to start classes because in some campuses students have not registered and lectures have not been payed for 3 months.

NCV students have not started with their internal exams and after completing their isats they were never given time to study for the internal like in my campus students finished on thursday to do their isats and ...by monday they were suppose to write on this week monday.

Business nated wrote their test 1 and they are soon to write their test 2 and internal exams.

Its been 3 months to majority of students and 9 months to some students without any assistance of nsfas allowances.

The college exhausted its funding due to negligent and areogance not to mebtion underming the SRC.

    CONCLUSION

As the college and regional leadership we are lobbying all campus to speak in one voice and we propose that all upcoming tasks (tests and internal exam) be written in group discussions so that we can all qualify to write our final exams rather than waitingfor the final exam and we start complaining about not qualifying.

Let us also remember that our issue is not only allowances but allowances is the main priority. Other issues include lack of learning materils, lectures who can't lecture properly, educational tours and a lot of issues that cant be writen using a phone.

    Alluta continue💪💪💪💪💪

ds with the college SRC into solving the NSFAS crises.

In working with all the stake holders we are going to make sure that by the end of this week all students must have benefited so that we can solve the crises of insufficient funds in the TVET sector nation wide, 2.2 billion for 50 public TVETS is less little, we are the majority and we shall be prioritised.

The little that we have we are going to share it and join forces into seeking for a solution on the issue of funding and recognition. We can't be seen striking always for something that is our right, we are going to close this chapter once and for all

    Information:

Rumours have spread that Ehlanzeni TVET college is lobbying other government TVET colleges across South Africa to join them into what they call "Free Education destiny campaign" the campaign will focus on prioritising education and sending a message to the government that enough is enough corruption within the education sector must stop and the government must take education seriously because it is a need.

Students who are currently enrolled in TVET colleges wil...l embark on strikes during final exams and no student will be found writing his or her final exam. The student Guerrilla warfare of Ehlanzeni TVET college is believed to have started this campaign in various campuses of Ehlanzeni TVET college this follows after many memorandums of grievances have been submitted to the department of higher education training by various TVET colleges across the country since the establishment of the FET's in the country but none have been considered.

One of the Guerilla warfare members said "in 1976 the youth came together unitedly so, they shaped the futer of this country by protesting against the use of Afrikaans language as a language of instruction and they never enjoyed the benefits. It is this generation thatis enjoying those benefits and we need to invest for our children's sake. Directly or indirectly this situation affects all of us and as a country we need to put a stop in this". Some student leaders also wanted to urge all corrupt government officials through this campaign about what they are doing as it kills this country and it is the youth that will suffer the consequences not them.

Details of the campaign will be communicated. You can forward this information or share post if you are a responsible South African citizen.

Students we can't loose a good 🎎leader like comrade Steven Mona. think of all the good he has done in our campus, yes he is not perfect but he is good in what he does. 💡Ask yourself what will our campus be like without good leaders like Mfundo, Ngqane and others including Steven. Students we need to save our sec...retary on Thursday and in order to do that an amount of 💸💰💷R5 000 is needed. Let's fundraise this money and save our leader Amandla💪🏿💪🏿
