  Durban Hindu Temple –Shree Thakurdwara and Dharmashala (aka Somsteu Road Temple/ Depot Road Temple). The temple was established in 1898. The temple is now 120 years old.The Temple reflects the spiritual and cultural history of the 1860 Indian Settlers. Hindi classes are held by the Hindi Shiksha Sangh, in all levels, on Saturday evenings. The Sri Sathya Sai Organization have their weekly satsang on Thursdays (mid-day satsang) . Hare Krishna hold their weekly namahata programs on Friday evening's.
