Went to dros gateway today, Service and waiter was decent (with him being a trainee and all and forgetting some of our orders) but he was more than happy to quickly run and fix a mess-up from the kitchen, the kitchen took forever and a day to make our food (burger and Eisbein) But when that food arrived, OMW! best eisbein i have EVER had, please pass along my compliments to the chef that prepared that dish today! (the meat actually broke apart from the bone in a way i have never seen before. everything suddenly was perfect! - hell even waiting for 1h30min for that was suddenly not so bad.

The service is kak. The fish we ordered was disgusting and my salad was soggy and old. I felt sorry for my tomato. We will never visit this place again or any other Dros for that matter. Thanks.. for nothing

Your service is reduculous .i wish i could post the picture of wing that wer sold to us ystdy..absolutely tasteles,not appetising nd thy wer soooo dry..i complained thy wer taken nd nthng was done only putted source ..we waited sooo long to get our food..
I'll nevr take my family to waste our money thr..expensive food but it not worth it it all messed up nd the waiter absolutely unprofessional nd so loud..

I'd give this place a 2* if it wasn't for an offer they put on offering a beer and burger meal for R20 which is exceptional value for money. However I should say that every time I have been the wait for service has been dreadful. On both occasions I booked a table to eat they either lost or ignored my booking leading to me having to wait for a table to become available. This is despite me handwriting my booking in their reservation book since the waitress seemed to have no clue how to write the reservation.
Go if there's an offer on or if you really are not in a rush to get anywhere that day.response / report this review -

We had the displeasure of visiting your restaurant a few weeks ago, ordered what supposed to be a pizza? It was disgusting, the worst I've ever tasted, literally no base, nor taste, worse than Dog's food!!! I took just a bite and refused to eat this pathetic excuse for a pizza. The ambience and service are also pathetic. Your staff lack great customer service skills, need to learn the basics on preparing, presentation of food and management needs training and even replacement. We will NEVER visit your restaurant again!!
