I selected the acrylic tip with gel polish treatment which is listed as R520. Once I had selected the treatment, a staff member gave me a list of shape options to choose from. The staff member did not mention that any of the shapes listed would be at an additional cost nor did the pamphlet provided say anything regarding that. Therefore, I was under the impression that the shape I had chosen (from a list of options given to me by staff) was all inclusive in the R520 for the treatment. Once I was done with the treatment and paying, I was surprised to be told I was actually being charged R670. When I enquired with the staff member why the price was different she told me it was because of the shape I had chosen.
I feel quite disappointed as I am someone newer to the area and went in quite excited to find (what I thought was) a good place near me to make my regular spot to get my various treatments. However I left feeling a little cheated, uncomfortable and certain that I am unlikely to ever return.response / report this review -

The service was fine, friendly staff and there was constant contact with me to make sure I know what time my appointment will be and if there are any changes.. I had to tweeze out glue from my eyes when I got home after getting the classic set of eyelash extentions. On day 3 my lashes started falling out in clumps, meaning many mink lashes was attached to one of my own lashes Not sure what type of adhesive was used.. . It should not fall out so soon, though it still looks OK for now. I know now what I want and what to suggest if I do make an appointment again for eyelash extensions.. Thank you for the attempt.

The staff at Dream Nails Cape Gate is fantastic. They show much interest in the clients and make conversation so the vibe is chilled while you're getting pampered. 10/10

So last week Sartuday I made a last minute booking with Dream Nails and was so happy they could slot me in Now it makes sense why they had the slot. I did a gelish nail polish and my nails were chipped by Monday Not even a week later after paying R260 I just want to cry

The salon is small, but clean and the technicians are all qualified, some in multiple fields. They do a full range of nail services, and also massages, manicures, pedicures, lash extensions, etc.
I regularly have my nails done there. You can specify if you have a technician you like, or, like me, give everyone a shot.
Tipping is not required, but I feel that a good job deserves a token of appreciation.
They have wonderfully uplifting messages on a loop on various places on the wall. Not only do you look better when leaving, you feel inspired too.response / report this review -

I booked an appointment to get my nails done. I took the initiative to call the day of the appointment only for them to figure out that the woman who was meant to do my nails would not be there and there was no space for me. They then proceeded to try book me on Christmas Eve who gets their nails done on Christmas Eve at 6pm???? If I hadn’t called to confirm I would have arrived at dream nails for nothing.
I will be going to sorbet from now on thank you. At least they are organized enough to book properly. For the money these nail salons charge I expect better service.response / report this review -

First approach entering dream nails I was not impressed Then I had a gelish polish done and the work was pathetic nails weren't filed properly cuticles were on fire and painful Customer service from the therapist point was horrible no smile, no sense of friendliness Was not impressed My nails were half done as a few of them did not have a top coat on Not again.
