This is not a 4 star Hotel. Staff are clueless and untrained. The hotel looks reasonable when you look at their photos. The hotel photos is however totally deceiving. The floors are dirty. The rooms smell terrible. There is no security and the furniture is rusted and broken. I would not recommend anyone staying in this hotel.

View to die for --BUT the windows need cleaning. With the sea salt in the air, it leaves a thick layer on the glass giving you a very distorted picture of a blurry horizon. The general set up very sparsely furnished.

Clientele very much for the locals. A lot of people were in large groups enjoying a night out. Not rowdy or disturbing to others.

The hotel in general looks like it has undergone a major touch up. Beautiful decor upon entrance to reception. The restaurant at the entrance looks very impressive, did not eat there as it was not open at the time. The paintings on the walls very tastefully decorated.

The outer view of the hotel is deceptive. A dull grey colour with its name painted on the side of the hotel - gives an impression that it is an old and shabby place. Don't be fooled. Go inside and see for yourself. Ladies at reception very friendly and welcoming.

What a nightmare I had with this Hotel. Might be well organised in off-peak seasons. No towels, no two prong plugs, no curtesy and no management. Booked at the time when the owner had a party that would last THREE NIGHTS with no regards for tenants. If this is a 4 star hotel, imagine what a single star hotel would be. I had to cut my stay short after the experience of a sleepless night.

I like the serenity of the area, you hear the calming sea right thru the night. I found that ppl are friendly, and helpful. Night time is the buzz especially at the sky bar, it's secluded for ppl to enjoy themselves without being disturbed by traffic, like when in your room you don't hear any noise that is a bonus.

Room smelled like a dead rat, bad service at breakfast, worse food options at the buffet breakfast. No air freshener or hair dryer in the room. Bad wifi. I've stayed at better 3 star places

Lovely dinner at their restaurant. The meals are simple but nicely made and the staff are all really friendly. Pretty much what you want from a beach hotel.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Great room rates. Lovely rooftop bar with beautiful views and affordable and tasty meals. Good Spa too.. Also lools like it was recently revamped as the finishing are lovely. Well done to the team! Ps. Please fix the Jacuzzi - what an awesome location!

The 2 stars are for the 2 year old building. I was told it was along the coast. I believe it may be cultural. A misunderstanding as its 2 blocks from the sea. Close enough to walk but not a sea front property as I was told. I sensed a bit of false arrogance from reception. LOW SELF ESTEEM.
The breakfast WAS HOSTED BY A LOVELY WOMAN she was far superior to the rest of the staff. She could have been hostess at the Mt. Nelson, Cape Town. This is a new hotel with bad parking otherwise the rooms are large and convenient.
